A company must register for Value Added Tax (VAT) if the total value of taxable goods or services is more than R1 million in a 12-month period, or is expected to exceed this amount. A Company may only sell products at prices that do not include VAT if that company turns over less than R1m per annum in sales and is exempt from registering for VAT. Not charging VAT does not mean that the price is inclusive of VAT, but simply that VAT has not been charged and can therefore not be claimed back by the purchaser (should the purchaser be registered for VAT). The price of a product that does not include VAT is the nett price, whether VAT is added to the sale or not.
SFGS is a VAT registered company and we market all our products as exclusive of VAT. Our customers that are VAT registered claim back the VAT component of their purchase and therefore effectively pay the nett price for items purchased.
Our payment terms are strictly COD. We accept cash on delivery or proof of EFT payment.
Deliveries in Gauteng, North-West, Limpopo, Mpumalanga, Freestate, parts of the Northern and Eastern Cape and around Port Elizabeth are not charged for. We make our own deliveries and also have Sales People in those areas. Courier services are arranged to other parts of the country.
In Gauteng we normally deliver the day after we receive an order and we deliver in our outlying regions once per week.
Our Forecourt Degreasers are biodegradable and all MSDS’s are available.
No, one is able to set program them as you need them.
All our alcohol-based sanitizers have an alcohol content that is higher than 70%.
Water Finding Paste is placed on the bottom section of a dipstick to detect whether water is in the fuel storage tank. Dipping Paste is smeared on the dipstick to see how much fuel is in the fuel storage tank.
Yes, once you purchase a product from us, we will provide the relevant MSDS’s on request.
We are based in Gauteng and cover a 500km radius around Gauteng, as well as the Eastern Cape. Orders from our customers in KZN and the Western Cape are delivered via courier. We do have Sales Representatives in all the areas that we deliver to.
We mainly sell B2B and prefer to make deliveries to our customers. When selling to individuals we deliver to their place of work, not private residences. Payment is therefore not by credit card, but cash on delivery or eft. We are, however, in the process of setting up an e-commerce facility on our website and should be launching that before the end of 2021!
No. We have established routes to all our customers and are able to deliver at no additional cost to them and require no minimum order quantity.
We offer training where necessary and possible. However, we are also able to assist you remotely by phone, e-mail, whatsapp or ZOOM/TEAMS call should you need any technical assistance and product training.
